These projects were created during my Graphic Design 1 course at Dumont High School. This was my first introduction to Graphic Design, and where my initial interest sparked for the field. Our first project focused on playing with various graphic line forms: stipple, cross-hatch, repeating line, and bold graphic shapes. I chose an elephant as my subject and created my own drawings which I repeated with 4 different line types. The next assignment dealt with combining forms, where we were assigned a letter and were tasked with creating a form using an object that started with that letter. I was assigned the letter "V", and chose a "violin" as my object. I used bold graphic shapes to create my violin shape that formed the capital script letter "V".
